This album began as a very short short commission from artist Thom Buchanan. Very quickly, it evolved through several discrete stages - like a moth from an egg, through larva and pupa, to imago - culminating in the long-form work you're listening to now.

These soundscapes will take you on a journey from mystical beginnings to unknown endings, with manifold ebbs and flows along the way. Slow, subtly changing resonances reach deep, searching for mysteries.

The bonus track "Thom's Drone" was my first attempt at adapting the original work. An interim form, if you like.
