Every sound on this album comes from a piano.

The original source of this music is a short piece I wrote in the early 1990s. Performed on an Amiga and a Yamaha Clavinova, it was recorded to cassette and then uploaded 25 years later for further tinkering.*

Each iteration of Slow Pianos adapts the progression and tones of the original in different ways, creating slow pulses that I have worked and slept with until their rhythms became such a part of my life that I was reluctant to let them go.

Here they are. I hope you find these works as calming yet stimulating as I do.
