Scrote Punch

My sonic experiments in 1982 were largely confined to musique concrete, using whatever materials I had to hand. The results were four long-form works on cassette, that I much later transferred to digital files, overlaid, and manipulated to create 28 short works that highlight the best (and hide the worst) of those musical moments. Inspired by the 2019 Australian federal election, this work mashes all 28 pieces (56 layers) together for maximum impact. "Scrote Punch", btw, is the name of an imaginary band in my novel Impossible Music.
